What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
